To me, the face of God is Dark. Not because I hate who I am. I like myself. Being Irish/German is cool. I think God loves
people like me as well as someone dark. That is not why the Face of God to me is Dark.
So much of our faith is watered down, distorted, faded. Where I am from, the Mother of God, Mary, is called 'white and
delightsome'. But this very same religion says that if you marry a black person you should be killed, and you will go to hell.
It also says that being Brown or Black is a mark of CAIN! That you were once one of the 1/3 of the 'spirits' that opposed
Christ and were cast out of heaven! Can you believe that!!! So for me it is as much a political statement as well as historical
fact, that Jesus and His Mother Mary came from a DARK PEOPLE!
